Designing a spacious and contemporary new build townhouse

Working with a returning client on their spacious contemporary townhouse which had been built to a high specification, but had no personality or softness. 

Whilst the decoration was of course important, the real challenge in this property was adding interest to what was essentially a white box. Through carefully selected furniture and an intricate joinery package we designed each room starting with the basement family room where an entire wall was transformed using multiple materials such as wood and marble with integrated lighting and shelving to house the oversized TV, creating a truly bespoke feature. 

As you head upstairs an asymmetrical wall to wall shelving unit in a beautiful walnut not only creates interest on what was an empty landing, but also provides much needed storage for the clients extensive book collection.
