The brief; to help our clients make this stunning modern ground-floor and basement apartment their own. They were not afraid of colour and a bit of fun and the result is an eclectic mix of pattern and texture very tastefully put together.

The clean modern lines of the entrance corridor were softened with the use of a stunning glass crystal pendant that projects exquisite flickers of light around the space which leads directly into the feminine dressing room. The delicate blues and greens of the sweeping heavy curtain pick up on the more geometric-style wallpaper.

The Master Bedroom’s stunning feature wall behind the dark purple velvet headboard gives the room a touch of elegance. Classic yet modern brass and gold wall-lights are fixed over stylish glass cube side tables. The bedlinen is bespoke in cream and purple satin. All of this is rounded off with crisp white cushions with purple satin piping.

The open plan living/kitchen area is a stunning room bathed in natural light. The colour scheme selected was influenced strongly by Matisse cut-outs. The dark blue of the velvet sofa sits comfortably amongst the warmth of orange and green tones of the rug and the lights.

The rug in itself is a wonderful piece with subtle hints of silver peeping through its orange ‘worn’ pattern detail. Then the fun comes in with this unique silver and green armchair with an orange hand-painted tulip and the clever floor lamp that offers a surprise when lit.
